Yes. SMS and voice are built in with selected plans. Many trackers send SMS alerts for geofence breaches, ignition, tampering or low battery, and lone worker devices often use two-way voice. Data, SMS and voice all run on the same SIM.
It depends on how often the device reports its location and what extra data it sends. A tracker that reports every few minutes usually uses a modest amount each month. Devices that report more often, or that also send sensor data such as temperature, use more. The IoT 50 plan suits most low-frequency trackers. IoT 500 suits devices that report often or send extra data. If you're unsure, our team can help you estimate usage for your device.

- IoT 500: vehicles with frequent live updates, or trackers that also send sensor data.
- IoT 2GB and 3GB: devices that send much more data, such as trackers with cameras.
Because data is pooled across SIMs on the same plan, lighter-use trackers can offset heavier ones across your fleet.
Excess data is charged per MB at your plan's excess rate. With same-plan pooling, a single tracker going over only incurs charges if the whole pool goes over. You can also set usage alerts in the Control Centre to catch unusual usage early.
