Depending on your plan, you'll connect via 4G or 5G, with maximum download speeds from 100Mbps up to 250Mbps.

You get a similar network footprint to the one Telstra customers rely on, reaching the vast majority of the Australian population. The Telstra Wholesale mobile network is slightly smaller than Telstra's direct retail network and doesn't extend to some ultra-remote areas, but it runs on both 4G and 5G and is well regarded for strong, dependable performance across metro, regional and most rural areas.

No. All UCOM Mobile plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contracts and no set-up fees, so you keep complete flexibility to scale up, scale down or change plans as your business needs change.

Data banking (our Flexi plans) lets a single service roll unused data over so it isn't wasted at the end of the month, ideal for individual users whose usage varies. Data sharing (our Fleet plans) pools a data allowance across multiple services on the one account, ideal for businesses managing several SIMs or a team.

Yes. Standard plans include local, national and mobile calls, plus SMS and MMS and calls to 13/1300 numbers. International calls to selected countries are included on the higher tiers. If you only need data, data-only plans are also available for tablets, mobile broadband and connected devices.

Yes. UCOM Mobile offers eSIM delivery as an alternative to a physical card, so you can get connected faster with less plastic. Not every handset supports eSIM, so check your device's compatibility, the UCOM team can confirm whether your device is eSIM-ready when you sign up.

Yes. You can keep your existing mobile number when you move to UCOM Mobile through a standard number port. When you sign up, just let us know you'd like to transfer your current number and provide your existing account details including the number you're porting and your current provider. The UCOM team will manage the process for you and porting is usually quick and, in most cases, your service will be up and running with minimal downtime. To avoid any disruption, keep your existing service active until the transfer is complete rather than cancelling it beforehand.

It depends on your plan. If you're on a data banking (Flexi) plan, your unused data rolls over so it isn't wasted at the end of the month. If you're on a data sharing (Fleet) plan, unused data expires at the end of the billing cycle rather than carrying over, though the allowance is pooled and shared across all the services on your account during the month. So if rolling data over matters to you, choose a data banking plan; if you'd rather share one allowance across a team or fleet of SIMs, the Fleet plans are built for that.
